Who developed Mitron App?

Short-Video sharing platforms are very popular in India. That's why an IIT Roorkee student Shivank Agarwal has developed Mitron App, which is an Indian version of most popular chinese app TikTok.

Who is Shivank Agarwal?

Shivank Agarwal did his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Over the years, he has accumulated vast experience in the field of software engineering by working for companies like Winshuttle, Vedantu, KaBloom, and more.
His entrepreneurial spirit enabled Shivank to become the co-founder of BufferInfinite along with his most recent startup, OYEFit, which provides users access to a variety of services offered by our partner fitness clubs, including 150+ clubs in Bangalore.

This app gained a huge popularity since its launch because of the current anti-China sentiment and a lot of controversies that are attached with TikTok.

How to download Mitron App?

You can download Mitron App from Play Store, but it is currently not available on the Apple App Store. The size of app is approximately 10 times smaller than TikTok, where TikTok is around 73MB, this app is just of 7.9 MB.

How to use Mitron App?

The interface of App is very similar to TikTok. Basically, its a clone of TikTok App. When you open App videos starts playing, you can swipe up to watch next videos. There is no need to create an account until you want to upload your own videos.

As the two apps are similar, we'll see a close fight between them in the near future. TikTok is a giant whereas Mitron is a fresh release. So it will be interesting that could Mitron sustain such growth in a longer run.
