Google launched it's own TikTok

Tiktok is in process of getting banned in several countries and other companies are rushing to put out alternatives to the app. 

  • Facebook integrated a short-video platform inside the app.
  • Instagram integrated Reels.
  • Dailyhunt releases Josh App.
  • Sharechat released Moj App.
  • MX Player released MX Takatak.

And several other apps like Tiktok are getting a boost in this scenario. Some of them are:

  • Mitron
  • Snack Video
  • Tok Tik
  • Trell
  • Tangi
  • Roposo, etc.

Now Google, the tech giant is also joining the race. Google App is showcasing short-videos in its Discover Feed section. Well, these are not original videos on the platform. Its an embedded feed from popular short-video sharing platforms like Trell and Tangi.

As mentioned earlier, Google is taking these videos from other short-video sharing platforms like Trell and Tangi. When you play a video the source app icon is shown in the top-left corner of the screen and the name of the video is shown at bottom. There are also controls for muting, liking or sharing videos.
